NE learning journey: Lion's Trail

Argh, i know i'm a bit late, but you know what they say, better late then never, but latest is never, so here i am, posting our "fun", "exciting" field trip.

Well, we first started off in school with a bunch of stupid lessons which caused my blood to boil.
Why the hell does 4-3, 4-4, 4-5 get to go in the morning?! It's like so damn unfair, 4-1, 4-2 goes in the afternoon while they have stupid ICT (intensive chinese training) in the morning -.- Halloo, they get to be dismissed at 1+ and we get to be dismissed at like 5+? How fair is that -.-

So without further delay, here are the pictures (eldon actually got into most of the pictures):

Our visit to Heritage Gallery, Eldon posing with a bunch of statues =_=

Funny facts: The british actually told us to dig our own bomb shelters, then told us to cover it in case it breeds mosquitos. Like WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT MOSQUITO BITES WHEN YOU GET BLASTED BY BOMBS?! And actual instructions:" Avoid touching the sides of the trench(prevents motion transfer from impacts of bombs and cause damages to internal organs), knee down, cover your ears and open your mouth when the bomb is about to drop. Eldon was in that pose, but i couldn't fetch my camera in time, so you have to picture how stupid you look everytime a bomb drops.

The picture from another view w/o Eldon.

Eldon driving a firetruck (thank god they removed the engine before he could hijack it) En Yeow (i think) in the background)

"Heil Hitler!" it seems to say, but no, its a malay regiment army motar team.

Some bungalow turned to a museuem belonging to rich british who laundered our hard earned money, deprived of our rights (bomb shelters), at bukit chandu (opium hill). Here, brave malay regiments fought with their lives and lost them so we could at least have the thought of not being conquerored by the japanese. We got our peace eventually (thanks to nukes)

Basically this tour was suppose to cover all 5 aspects of total defence, was rather propaganda-ish IMO. Oh well, our educational system's screwed anyway, what worse can silly little propaganda do?
